Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description

The Quality Inspector will be responsible for monitoring all the production lines to ensure the product meets the customers' quality expectations before being shipped out. The inspector must have a car to drive to the other plant during their shift (3 minute drive). They may need to put lines on hold if issues are detected to avoid loss of material and recalls. The majority of the position involves visual inspection and will primarily take place on the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production lines to ensure product quality meets customer expectations.

• Drive between production plants as needed during shifts.

• Put lines on hold if quality issues are detected to prevent material loss and future recalls.

• Perform visual inspections on the production floor.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of quality inspection experience

• Mechanical experience (working on machines or in a machine environment)

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Must have a car

Work Environment

The work environment can be loud when machines are running and generally very clean. If dealing with a powdered product, there may be a little dust. No harmful chemicals are present, but products do have perfumes, so candidates must not be allergic to fragrance. Certain areas can seem a little cramped, and it can be warm in the summer. The facility has a large lunch room and a casual dress code.

Shift

This opportunity will be for the Day Shift, however candidate must be open to covering for all shifts as required.

• Days: 7:00am - 3:30pm

• Afternoons: 3:15 - 11:00pm ($0.50/hr shift premium)

• Nights: 10:45pm - 7:15am ($0.75/hr shift premium)

• Training will be on the day shift.

Pay

• $19-21/hr based on experience
