Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting incoming parts and components, ensuring they meet quality standards, and maintaining accurate records. This role requires a keen eye for detail and proficiency in using various measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all incoming parts and components to ensure they meet quality standards.

• Open and close quality process reports promptly and accurately.

• Perform data entry of incoming parts and components into the system.

• Conduct movements and updates in Business Central to track and manage inventory.

• Perform rack audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and report findings.

• Use measuring tools and gauges to verify product dimensions.

• Accurately measure and interpret results using ID/OD micrometers and calipers.

• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address any identified issues.

Essential Skills

• 1-3 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Inspections.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.

• Experience with quality inspections in a manufacturing or production environment.

• Proficient in using measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, and other gauges.

• Strong understanding of quality control standards and procedures.

• Familiarity with Business Central or similar enterprise software is preferred.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Strong data entry skills with accuracy.

• Ability to conduct audits and generate detailed reports.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Pre-employment BG check & drug screening required.

Work Environment

Garage-like environment. 6am - Noon Monday - Friday, 30-hour work weeks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00
