    As an Quality Inspector III you will be supporting Programs within classified AS9100 electronics manufacturing environments to deliver the highest customer satisfaction. You will be a team member of the Advanced Compact EW Solutions (ACES) product line that resides in the Countermeasures and Electromagnetic Attack (CEMA) Business Area.

    Activities and Responsibilities could include

    • Perform In Process and Final Inspection operations on electronic systems, assemblies, subassemblies, circuit cards, components and parts for conformance to specifications, following blueprints, drawings, Method sheets, schematics, and other assembly manuals.

    • Work from specifications, drawings, process instructions, engineering change orders, written and verbal instruction to inspect components subassemblies and assemblies against required quality standards such as IPC Standards and J-Standard.

    • Identify and document defects and input data into the appropriate systems for future review. Inspect subassemblies and assemblies after rework, modifications, field returns or repairs to verify defects have been corrected.

    • Verifies configuration of product to ensure conformity to the most recent revision.

    • Interfaces with engineering regarding technical issues (i.e., clarification of engineering change orders), process charge requests (PCR s) and problem resolution.

    • Work with First Article Inspection reports.

    • Provide Input into CAB and COPQ Initiatives.

    • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.

    • This role will be performed full-time onsite because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular job. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

    Required Education, Experience, & Skills

    Typical Education and Experience

    • High School Diploma or GED and 1-2 years inspection experience

    • Current active DOD Secret Clearance at time of application submission

    Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

    • Experience inspecting electronic systems and sub assemblies in accordance with standards like IPC-A-610 (strong preference).

    • Ability to read assembly drawings, schematics, BOMs, ECOs, process sheets and other related documentation used for the inspection of components, assemblies and subassemblies.

    • Experience tracking factory hardware and documenting non-conformances in Systems like TipQA, Paperless and Solumina.

    • Ability to interface with engineering regarding technical issues, process changes, and improvements.

    • IPC-A-610/620 Certification.

    • Experience with First Article Inspection Reports.

    Pay Information

    Full-Time Salary Range: $54560 - $87340

    Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
