Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description

As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting final products using visual comparators. You will work with light products (less than 1 lb.), but may occasionally need to lift boxes weighing up to 25 lbs. This is a bench role where you can sit during your shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of final products using comparators.

• Ensure all products meet quality standards.

• Use calipers, micrometers, and other tools to check product specifications.

• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.

• Document inspection results and maintain records.

• Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve quality issues.

Essential Skills

• Experience in manufacturing quality inspection.

• Proficiency in reading blueprints.

• Experience using calipers and micrometers.

• Knowledge of visual inspection techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with aircraft inspection and sheet metal is a plus.

• Familiarity with production and assembly processes.

Work Environment

This position is based in a small manufacturing facility with a team of four quality inspectors. The work week consists of 40 hours with options for day and afternoon shifts. The day shift runs from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, and the afternoon shift runs from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. This is a 3-month contract position.

This is a 3 month contract position based out of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00
