About the Job

The Quality Engineer will monitor product testing result trends and monitor process equipment and instrumentation designed to affect quality. They will also maintain the equipment and instruments to ensure they are operational, calibrated, accurate and precise.

• Troubleshoot equipment and instrumentation related to Quality, resolve any issues, and get the equipment or instrument back online as quickly as possible

• Monitor product testing result trends and monitor process equipment and instrumentation designed to affect quality

• Maintain the equipment and instruments to ensure they are operational, calibrated, accurate and precise.

• Create instrument and troubleshooting guides

• Report on the status of equipment and instrumentation regularly to Quality and Production.

• Work collaboratively with the Quality, Production, Engineering and Maintenance departments as well as OEMs and Contractors

• Pursue other equipment for our processes that might help improve product or production quality

• Responsible for equipment in various location. Primarily Ste. Genevieve, but to include Verona, KY and Calara, AL (20% travel).

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering required

• Experience: 2 years' experience working on manufacturing process instruments preferred

• Skills: Mechanically included and willing to work on instruments

• Abilities: Ability to troubleshoot equipment and instrument issues and use independent judgement, ability to travel up to 20%
