    What You Will Be Doing

    Join our dynamic team in Greenville, SC, as a Junior Quality Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our production processes. You will be instrumental in supporting our Greenville Site Operations (GSO) Production with a focus on continuous improvement and product excellence.

    Key Responsibilities

    - Perform product and process assessments, analyze discrepancies, interpret data, and facilitate preventive and corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.

    - Provide insightful quality data and presentations to support product initiatives, continuous improvement efforts, and performance reviews for key stakeholders.

    - Develop and enhance product inspection methodologies to ensure quality is embedded throughout the production lifecycle.

    - Support analysis activities, review inspection procedures, adhere to quality assurance plans, and assess opportunities to apply quality science tools and methods.

    - Facilitate root cause/corrective action (RCCA) processes and validate discrete plans to address quality issues.

    - Communicate significant events or emerging issues effectively to ensure all stakeholders are informed.

    Basic Qualifications:

    - Bachelors degree with 2 years of experience, Masters degree with no experience, or 5 years experience in the absence of a Bachelors Degree.

    Desired Skills:

    - Experience with or understanding of Quality principles, inspection methods and technical data in the Aerospace industry

    - Experience with interpreting engineering blueprints and/or specifications

    - ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)

    - Strong communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal)

    - Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification

    Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

    Clearance Level: Secret

    Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

    Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
