Quality Control Technician

Job Title: Quality Control Technician***

Pay: $17-25/hour dependent on experience

Hours: M-F 7:30-4pm

Job Description

The Quality Control Technician will be required to visit different sites to dispose of waste. Responsibilities include placing tracking stickers on waste containers, pairing them with a list on a sheet, and loading them onto a tractor trailer. The role also involves data entry in Excel, requiring technical abilities.

This is a fully on-site position in Newport News, Virginia.

Work Environment

The technician will work on one or multiple sites per day, riding to the job site with their foreman. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Safety gear such as steel-toed boots, a hard hat, a safety vest, and safety goggles must be worn every day. The role involves working 80% of the time on all naval bases in Hampton Roads and 20% of the time in the Newport News office documenting reports. No medical monitoring or certifications are required. Contractors must have a clean driving record.
