  • Quality Control Manager

    We are looking for a Quality Control Manager to join our Lombard, IL team!

    As our Quality Control Manager, you will support our production and research and development teams in our Surface Technologies facility, specializing in liquid coatings.

    You will be responsible for all aspects of the quality management system, including being the first point of contact for all Quality concerns. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state, federal and company regulatory standards and policies related to environment and industrial safety.

    Location: Lombard, IL

    Salary: $85,000-$95,000

    Your Challenge

    • Act as the Quality authority and provide leadership to all Quality initiatives.

    • Manage the Quality Management System (QMS), including organizing management reviews, and document control.

    • Responsible for external audits (AS9100, ISO9001), internal audits.

    • Provide corrective action plans, as needed, for all non-conformance of facility processing activities.

    • Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives.

    • Provide supervision of personnel and oversee day-to-day operations related to Quality and process issues.

    • Implement and maintain Corporate EH&S programs

    • Ensure facility alignment with federal, state, and local environmental, health and safety regulations/standards under direction of the Corporate EH&S department

    • Serves as the chair of the Safety Committee as well as prepares and conducts all safety committee meetings to promote an accident-free working environment.

    • Responsible for 1 direct report.

    What You Bring

    • Technical expertise - ability to learn and understand the coating and laser peening process.

    • 2-4 years of experience in Quality Management.

    • 4-6 years of management/supervisory/leadership experience.

    Preferred

    • Strong understanding and in-depth knowledge of EHS regulatory requirements and codes of practice (OSHA, EPA, ANSI, and NFPA).
