    Pay: $23/hr-$26/hr

    Shift: Monday-Friday, 5am-7am start-8hr shift. Would be expected to do OT on weekends; typically one weekend day for 4-6hrs starting at 5am. MUST BE FLEXIBLE W/ HOURS

    Position Summary: We are seeking a Quality Control Technician to play a crucial role in ensuring the consistent quality and reliability of our products. The technician will be responsible for meticulous testing, analysis, and evaluation of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct thorough inspections and analyses of incoming raw materials to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.

    • Execute various physical, chemical, and instrumental tests on samples using techniques such as spectrophotometry, viscosity measurement, pH and conductivity testing, and color drawdowns.

    • Evaluate color accuracy, consistency, and stability of pigments and dyes through visual assessment, spectrophotometry, color matching, and accelerated stability testing.

    • Interpret test results, compare findings against established specifications, and make decisions regarding the acceptance or rejection of materials.

    • Maintain detailed records of quality control activities, test results, and inspection findings in electronic databases and paper-based documentation systems.

    • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize processes, enhance product quality, and reduce waste.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field, or 5+ years of previous industry experience in a quality control environment.

    • Previous experience in a quality control role within the pigments, dyes, or chemical manufacturing industry is preferred.

    • Strong knowledge of quality control principles, testing methodologies, and analytical techniques.

    • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

    • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate technical information clearly.

    • Proficiency in using laboratory instrumentation and software for data analysis and reporting.
