Quality Control Chemist

Our client is seeking a Quality Control Chemist to join their team. As a Quality Control Chemist, you will be part of the Quality Control department supporting the production of lithography chemicals and formulations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to teamwork, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Control Chemist

Location: Branchburg, NJ

What's the Job?

• Prepare samples and add reagents while adhering to all analytical standards.

• Work in a fast-paced QC lab to support local production and deliver results in a timely manner with excellent quality.

• Use analytical techniques to measure solvent content, viscosity, specific density, water content, color, normality, and pH.

• Review test results for conformance to specifications and generate records of systems, procedures, and test results.

• Calibrate and perform minor repairs on instruments while following written and verbal instructions.

What's Needed?

• BSc in Chemistry, Physics, or related Scientific discipline, or an Associates Degree with extensive experience.

• 3+ years of science or technology-related industrial experience in a QC environment.

• Knowledge of quality processes and statistical fundamentals.

• Experience with chromatographic (GC) and UV/V instruments.

• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
