    Job Description

    The PPD clinical research business of Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly skilled QC Proposal Specialist to join our world-class team. As a QC Proposal Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the proposal development process, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail and producing high-quality documents that position Thermo Fisher Scientific as the optimal choice for project award.

    Essential Functions:

    • Reviews documents and responses to RFIs and RFPs from clients using appropriate tools and subject matter experts to acquire data, text, and information.

    • Evaluates information and final proposal to ensure the response meets client's request, following up with contributors to close any gaps.

    • Assists designated lead with tasks defined by opportunity (i.e. competitive landscape searches, slide creation, org chart creation).

    • Analyzes documents to ensure high quality and compliance with organizational standards.

    • Reviews and edits proposals, to produce high-quality documents that position the organization to clients as the top choice for award.

    • Liaises with subject matter experts to establish project-specific (therapeutic, client, system etc.) context for positioning proposals to client's needs.

    • Supports the development of library text that can be used for proposal and RFI responses.

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification

    • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2 years') or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

    • Years of experience refers to typical years of related experience needed to gain the required knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the job.
