Purchasing Agent

Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Purchasing Agent in Doral, Florida. This role primarily involves managing the data entry and order entry processes, maintaining vendor files, and other inventory-related tasks within the company

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and negotiate terms of contracts.

• Prepare and process purchase orders according to company policies and procedures.

• Monitor purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that arise.

• Buyer should ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.

• Prepare reports on purchasing activities, including cost analyses and supplier performance evaluations.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.

• Skills:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
