Requires basic math skills, reading and writing skills, and good manual dexterity. Ability to perform tasks with little or no supervisory help

Pay Rate

The pay rate for this job is $18 / Hour

What you'll be doing as a Punch Press Operator:

• Operates pick and place type press efficiently and effectively to attain set standards

• Runs single stroke coil operations

• Maintains equipment and tooling with use of appropriate lubricants

• Cleans and maintains press area before, during and after shift

• Performs quality checks using the proper measuring devices correctly during operation and complete quality records

• Complete appropriate paperwork, including accurately labeling misc. items

• May require successful completion of Forklift certification program

• Other duties may be assigned

Job requirements

• Physical requirements include the ability to bend, twist, stoop, and reach and lift up to 50lbs

• Ability to work on your feet for 10hr shifts and complete assigned tasks on schedule

• Basic math skills, ability to read measurements, reading and writing skills needed

• Proven good attendance

• Cleanliness and neatness of assigned areas, continued improvement in overall performance

• Cooperation, responsiveness, dependability and proper attitude in dealing with others

• Conformance to company personnel, safety, quality and housekeeping policies, procedures, practices, and work instructions 

• Background check and drug screening required
