    Description:

    Practice Highlights: Become part of a physician led 600+ provider multi-specialty group with a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care. Saint Alphonsus is a principal provider of evidence-based, interdisciplinary behavioral health services within the region. Our outpatient practice offers comprehensive evaluation and treatment for most emotional and interpersonal problems for adolescents and adults. Psychotherapeutic and psychopharmacologic interventions are provided via a multidisciplinary treatment team.

    The Behavioral Health outpatient clinic is seeking a Psychologist (PsyD or PhD) who is dedicated to the treatment of mental illness and is compassionate towards those struggling with these diagnoses and concerns. The Psychologist will provide evidence-based, goal-oriented, brief individual, group, family and educational services including assessment and psychotherapy, as well as neurological and personality testing, if interested.

    Support: Practice includes 3 Physicians, 1 APP and 1 Clinical Psychologist. Recruitment for additional providers is underway. Part of a multi-specialty network of 70+ Saint Alphonsus Medical Group Primary Care Clinics.

    Requirements :

    • Doctoral degree in Psychology required. Post-doctoral training in a specialized area preferred. Licensed as a Psychologist in Idaho. 2 years of post-doctoral experience in a related mental health setting required.

    • Membership required on the Saint Alphonsus Medical Staff as a Medical Associate that is fully credentialed and privileged prior to providing any direct patient care.

    • Knowledgeable in the fields of managed care and community mental health.

    • strong medical background and a desire to develop a practice to support a growing multi-specialty medical group.
