  • Job Description Summary

    The Proposal & Project Engineering (PPE) Requisition Program Manager is a critical part of the organization's leadership team and is responsible for new unit requisition operational and program budgets, demand forecasting, and Estimate At Completion (EAC) reporting and performance of the Heavy-Duty New Unit (HDNU) engineering organization. This role reports to the Proposal and Project Engineering (PPE) Operations leader and will work closely with a diverse set of functional groups and leaders both inside and outside of engineering to achieve optimum operational excellence for the HDNU business. This is a highly autonomous role that provides consistent access to leaders across Gas Power.

    Job Description

    Essential Responsibilities

    • Develop, document, and communicate the HDNU requisition budget through op planning and SII planning. Provide leadership and coordination of this process across all organizations.

    • Monitor and communicate HDNU budget spend status to impacted organizations and leadership throughout the year.

    • Manage and report EAC updates for the team, launching corrective and preventive actions in case of deviations and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

    • Manage and maintain tools and processes to support project engineering daily management. Integrate best practices and drive synergy across the organization to enhance the team's operational efficiency.

    • Champion SQDC ensuring safety first and quality is prioritized ahead of delivery and cost throughout the organization

    • Address pain points for executing team by facilitating cross functional discussions and clearing roadblocks

    Required Qualifications

    • Minimum 8 years of experience in the engineering function

    • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college in engineering

    • Good understanding of tactical and strategic Heavy Duty New Units business planning

    • Strong written and oral communication skills

    • Exhibits outstanding cross-functional working relationships

    • Experience with various operational tools such as Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, MS Access

    The base pay range for this position is 111,200.00 - 185,400.00 USD Annual . The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 15% bonus.
