  • Description:

    This Proposal Estimating Analyst position supports the proposal process on the Lower Tier Integrated Air & Missile Defense Line of Business (LOB). The candidate will be responsible for pricing activities for development, production, and sustainment proposals.

    What You Will Be Doing

    Proposal types will include USG, FMS, Cost-Plus, Fixed-Price, and Price and Availabilities. Duties include supporting the entire proposal process from RFP and Proposal Authorization, coordinating functional inputs, pricing using LM Estimating Financial System (EFS), guiding the proposal through the management review process, providing government audit support, fact-finding, negotiations and TINA Certification.

    For a level 2, we typically require 3 years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

    Basic Qualifications:

    - Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

    - Strong financial/analytical/technical skills

    - Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

    - Proficient user of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

    Desired Skills:

    - Aptitude for learning systems, procedures and various software applications

    - Proven ability to collaborate with various stakeholders

    - Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and leadership positions

    - Ability to be agile to changing requirements and assignments

    - Pro-Pricer knowledge

    - Experience and understanding of DFAR

    Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

    Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

    Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
