Property Accountant/Bookkeeper

Description

We are looking for a Property Accountant for a small private property management organization in San Diego. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity in the real estate industry. As a bookkeeper, you will be tasked with managing financial records, processing transactions and performing account reconciliations.

This is an immediate contract-to-hire hybrid Property Accountant opportunity. The ideal candidate will have residential and/or commercial property accounting experience, CAM reconciliation experience, knowledge of Yardi and QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

• Perform account reconciliations and ensure all financial records are accurate.

• Utilize QuickBooks and Yardi Breeze to manage and update financial data.

• Conduct monthly end close procedures and generate financial summaries.

• Handle data entry tasks and maintain customer credit records.

• Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action for account issues.

• Process payroll transactions and ensure accuracy.

• Utilize Quickbooks Online for financial management tasks.

• Perform CAM reconciliation and maintain related records.

Requirements - Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations

• Solid understanding of Bookkeeping principles

• Proficient in Data Entry tasks

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Knowledge of Payroll processes

• Proficiency in QuickBooks

• Experience in Cam Reconciliation

• Familiarity with Yardi Breeze software

• Proficient in using Quickbooks Online
