Proofpoint Security Engineer

Job Description

A global maritime and classification company is seeking an Email/Proofpoint Security Engineer to join their Cyber Security organization in the Spring/Woodlands, TX area. This person will be responsible for managing their email security tools and environment, including Proofpoint and MS Defender. On a day to day basis, this person will be working with the SOC Lead, other Security Engineers, and the Infrastructure team to enhance security within their environment focusing on email security. This role is required to work 3 days/week onsite in Spring, TX office, with Mondays and Fridays being remote.

This role is paying between 70 - 80/hr. depending on experience and education level.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of experience managing and securing email security environments with expertise in Proofpoint

In-depth knowledge of Proofpoint's advanced email security products, along with hands-on experience with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office 365

Over 5 years of experience working with Proofpoint email security products (Enterprise Protection, Targeted Attack Protection, Email Encryption, etc.)

1+ cyber security certifications, ideally relating to O365, Proofpoint, or other threat detection/email security certs Experience with Microsoft Defender

Experience with Proofpoint Illusive null
