  • Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Project Manager in FORT WAYNE, Indiana, 46802-2703, United States. This role is crucial within our team, focusing on managing various construction projects, ensuring they meet set milestones and deadlines. The industry we operate in is fast-paced, and we need an individual who can efficiently delegate tasks, make effective decisions, and serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop both long- and short-term project plans, setting targets for milestones and ensuring adherence to set deadlines.

    • Delegate project tasks to employees who are best suited to complete them.

    • Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for project progression.

    • Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project, ensuring synergy in team actions.

    • Communicate with executives to keep the project aligned with their goals.

    • Perform quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the expected standards.

    • Adjust project schedules and targets as project needs or financing changes.

    • Conduct meetings and in-person discussions to ensure smooth project operations.

    • Manage commercial construction projects, ensuring compliance with construction regulations.

    • Leverage your construction industry experience to effectively manage construction schedules, plans, and overall project management. Requirements - Must possess the ability to conduct effective meetings, including in-person meetings.

    • Must have prior experience managing commercial construction projects.

    • Must have a strong understanding of and experience in the construction industry.

    • Must have the ability to create, maintain, and understand construction schedules.

    • Must be familiar with construction regulations and how they apply to various projects.

    • Must have experience managing a variety of construction projects from inception to completion.

    • Must be able to interpret and understand construction plans.

    • Must have a background in construction management and be proficient in related tools and software.
