    Job Description

    General support to the GM customer team responsible for electric power steering (EPS) project execution. Team members will help the candidate to learn project management functions and activities necessary to launch EPS on vehicles in the market. Tasks may include but aren't limited to the following:

    • R&D resource budget management & tracking

    • Project management process and work product completion

    • Sales process and work product completion

    • Logistics topic support & tracking

    • Profit management activity

    • Prototype management and coordination

    • Continuous improvement projects

    Qualifications

    • Current undergraduate (Junior or Senior preferred) or graduate student, pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering or Automotive Technology

    • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (unofficial transcript required at time of application)

    • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university

    • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age

    • Strong communication skills

    • Ability to perform tasks autonomously and complete work in a timely manner

    • Structured problem solving methods.

    • Adept in MS Office Suite with high competency in Excel

    • Familiarity & competence with MS Project

    • Must be able to work 20 - 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

    • Internship duration: 6 months - with possibility to extend.
