Chenega Services & Federal Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services ' company, is looking for a Project Coordinator to support the Department of Education, Federal Student Aid (FSA). The ideal candidate will be proficient in SAFe Agile Practices, ServiceNow, and have specific experience including ServiceNow SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management), and creating and managing weekly and monthly reports, as well as other contract deliverables. The role requires attending daily standups, requirement gathering and other meetings for situational awareness and coordinating project activities to ensure timely and successful project reporting and oversite to ensure completion. This is a 100% remote role with work hours from 8 am - 5 pm EST.

Responsibilities
Project Coordination and Management:
Assist in planning, executing, and closing projects in alignment with federal agency guidelines and objectives.
Develop, manage, and track project deliverables, milestones, and timelines using ServiceNow SPM, and ServiceNow SAFe.
Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
Reporting and Documentation:
Create and maintain comprehensive project reports, including weekly and monthly status updates.
Document project progress, risks, issues, and changes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
Prepare and present project deliverables to internal and external stakeholders.
ServiceNow Experience:
Utilize ServiceNow SPM for project management tasks, including task creation, tracking, and reporting.
Manage ServiceNow SPM functionalities to ensure effective portfolio management and project visibility.
Troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow-related issues in collaboration with Chenega ServiceNow support teams.
Meeting Participation and Communication:
Attend project meetings and briefings to maintain awareness and updates on project status.
Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and agency representatives when needed.
Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and action items, ensuring follow-up and resolution.
Risk and Issue Management:
Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, escalating as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
Implement and monitor risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
Compliance and Best Practices:
Ensure all project activities comply with federal regulations, policies, standards and SAFe Agile best practices.
Promote best practices in project management and coordinate efforts to improve processes and efficiency.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in project coordination or a similar role.
Proficiency in ServiceNow, including ServiceNow SPM (Service Portfolio Management).
Strong experience in creating and managing project reports and deliverables.
Strong experience with Microsoft Project Professional
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Desired Skills:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar credential.
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS-SPM)
Microsoft Project Certification
Familiarity with federal agency regulations and project management best practices is preferred.
Experience with federal project management standards and frameworks.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Final salary determination based on skill-set, qualifications, and approved funding.
