  • The Project Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the successful planning, execution, and completion of commercial construction projects. Based in San Antonio, Texas, the Coordinator will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure that all project requirements are met on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

     

    The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in commercial construction or project coordination is preferred.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Project Coordination & Support:
    • Assist the Project Manager in the planning, scheduling, and execution of commercial projects.
    • Maintain and update project documentation, including contracts, schedules, purchase orders, and change orders.
    • Communication & Client Relations:
    • Act as a liaison between the project team, clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth communication and issue resolution.
    • Manage client expectations and maintain strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Budgeting & Financial Tracking:
    • Monitor project budgets, expenses, and invoices, assisting the Project Manager in controlling costs.
    • Process and track purchase orders, vendor invoices, and change orders in coordination with the accounting department.
    • Scheduling & Logistics:
    • Help in the preparation and management of project schedules, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project deadlines.
    • Coordinate the delivery of materials, equipment, and personnel to project sites as needed.
    • Organise the RFI logs for projects specifications
    • Risk & Issue Management:
    • Identify potential project risks or delays and communicate them to the Project Manager.
    • Assist in troubleshooting issues that arise during the construction process and ensure solutions are implemented.
    • Compliance & Safety:
    • Ensure all projects adhere to safety, regulatory, and compliance standards.
    • Assist with project audits, permits, and inspections as needed.
    • Experience:
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in project coordination or administration, preferably within commercial construction.
    • Familiarity with construction processes, contract management, and project scheduling.
    • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficient in MS Excel, Sage 100 Contractor/ Master Builder
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
    • Knowledge of San Antonio’s local building codes and regulations is a plus.
