Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger; reconcile balance sheets, P&L, and bank statements

• Oversee accounts payable, managing company payments and vendor transactions accurately

• Take ownership of A/R collections, proactively contacting clients to ensure prompt payment, resolving disputes, and negotiating payment terms when necessary

• Generate accurate monthly billing statements for clients in alignment with project schedules, ensuring adherence to deadlines and contract terms.

• Oversee A/R collections to ensure timely payments and maintain cash flow; follow up on outstanding invoices and resolve discrepancies in a professional manner

• Collaborate with project managers to develop and refine budgets and financial forecasts

• Monitor compliance with accounting policies; implement best practices for process improvement

• Assist with annual audits by preparing audit working papers and documentation

• Prepare financial reports, project cost analysis, and ad-hoc reports for decision-making

• Handle Sales & Use Tax and Corporate Tax compliance
