Programmer 5

Description We are in search of a Programmer 5 to join our dynamic team, located in the heart of Augusta, Maine. As a Programmer 5, you will be instrumental in transforming data into action through database development and data integrations using the stack of a leading technology company. You will also be responsible for maintaining systems and processes, developing SQL stored procedures, and ensuring best practices are followed at both the database and application layer. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance data integrations to optimize reporting and data collection processes

• Maintain and update the systems and processes as required

• Collaborate with teams across the organization to ensure business goals and objectives are met while adhering to governance policies and procedures

• Create SQL stored procedures to support data visualizations

• Work with a variety of technologies to integrate diverse technical environments and cross-platform technologies

• Design databases and optimize them, re-platform legacy systems/processes when needed

• Utilize the Power BI and Tableau for data visualization

• Uphold best practices and ALM process at the database and application layer

• Act as a liaison with vendors and other stakeholders while adhering to established policies and procedures

• Provide mentorship and perform supervisory functions for technical teams. Requirements - Strong proficiency in Reporting, Procedures, and Policy

• Demonstrated experience in Database Design and working with Vendors

• Proficiency in Database Development and understanding of Collection Processes

• Capacity to act as a Liaison and execute Optimization tasks

• Advanced knowledge of SQL and Integration

• Proven ability in Collaboration and implementing Best Practices

• Proficiency in Tableau and R Code

• Extensive experience with SQL Server and ProFile

• Proficiency in Power BI and Data Visualization

• Understanding of Governance and Web-based Application

• Experience with IDS and SSIS
