    I. Job Summary

    The primary objective is to ensure execution of the National Account program. The National Accounts Program Manager SBS is responsible for building a deep and lasting professional relationship with each client, as well as the internal WM network that supports the successful execution of waste management programs. The National Accounts Program Manager SBS is accountable for the quality of each client book of business while supporting the goals of the organization to grow and maintain existing clients.

    II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

    Sales:

    Partner with the Strategic Account Manager (SAM) in the support of new program initiatives including right sizing, renewals, growth, acquisitions, mergers and the addition of new services such as compact monitors

    Achieves a renewal rate of 90% of client contracts

    Proposes outside of the box services that could prove profitable

    Contract Management:

    Oversee contract compliance

    Execute CPI increases across all client book of business where contractually allowed

    Assist, execute and approve/reject 100% of customer monthly audits

    Participate in the launch of new clients, renewals and de-implementation

    Educate clients of local regulatory compliance trends and requirements (e.g., mandatory recycling)

    Review and approve client specific book of business (spec) changes within governance timeline

    Customer Experience:

    Represent the brand with the highest integrity

    Lead and collaborate with cross functions to ensure accounts receivable (A/R) are current to contract terms and do not exceed 9.9% of the total book of

    business A/R balance in 60> day

    Act as a client resource to escalate and address operational level activities including billing, set-up and service requests

    Use in-depth knowledge of internal organizational structure, financial performance, and plant specific trends for assigned clients

    Acts as the liaison between WMSBS and our field organization to support our clients

    Oversee client projects including service optimization, audits, etc. (G&D or otherwise)

    Ensure we are meeting our service obligations by providing quality on-time client bills, reduce and eliminate stop services and missed pick-ups

    Prepare, host and actively participate in client forums

    Execute client specific reporting and complete quarterly score cards

    Support the preparation of cost savings, recycling research and presentations

    Set-up new client users and provide client training for the E-business portal

    Become well versed with WMs integrated services: solid, special, hazardous, universal, medical, recycling (traditional and non-traditional) beneficial reuse, etc.)

    Articulate WMs sustainability initiatives including WMRA, TOMRA, Sustainability Services, OGG, etc.

    Perform site evaluations

    Monitor news associated with local facilities to proactively address client requirements

    III. Supervisory Responsibilities

    The highest level of supervisory skills required in this job is the management of non-supervisory employees.

    IV. Qualifications

    The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job. Must live and work in the US.

    A. Education and Experience

    Education: Bachelors Degree (accredited) in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or similar area of study, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience.

    Experience: Two (2) years of relationship management experience in environmental, waste or related service industry (in addition to education requirement).

    B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

    None required.

    C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required

    Ability to generate reports, general business correspondence, present information and respond to questions for managers, clients and the public

    Significant knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint with substantial experience with web based interactive systems

    Demonstrate exceptional presentation skills

    Normal setting for this job is an remote setting, but could require travel to field locations (up to 20%)

    The expected base pay range for this position across the U.S. is $78,500-$88,000. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
