    Description

    Overview

    • Set a standard of excellence for program and project delivery at Quartz

    • Drive successful project outcomes via deliverable, resource and relationship management

    • Surface and work to implement improvements to the PMO processes and workflows

    Responsibilities

    • Work closely with project sponsors, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives

    • Manage program and project teams for optimal return on investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives, including direct management of a small team of project managers.

    • Identify key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors

    • Serve as the main point of contact for program updates, proactively informing stakeholders on project status, risks, and opportunities.

    • Oversee and track program budgets, collaborating with Finance to track and control costs, and ensuring budget adherence.

    • Oversee resource allocation and support capacity planning, ensuring proper staffing for project success

    • Collaborate on metrics to track and report program and overall PMO performance

    • Identify risks and leverage opportunities across multiple projects within the department

    • Analyze, evaluate, and implement creative ways to overcome program risks and challenges

    • Support teams and stakeholders as we continue to build and mature our Agile capabilities

    • Act in a mentor capacity to other Project Managers within the PMO

    (DS1)could you clarify what is meant by program budget? We don't have a budget at a program level. each sponsor budgets for their project today. are you looking for a shift or just expecting these individuals to make sure they manage to the projects budget, regardless of cost center?

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (equivalent, relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education).

    • 7+ years of experience in project/portfolio/program management

    • Proven experience in leadership roles, preferably within healthcare or health insurance.

    • Track record in managing large-scale programs, complex projects, budgets, and cross-functional teams.

    • Required Certifications: PMP, PgMP or similar.

    The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $100.00
