    We are seeking an experienced Release Manager with strong technical program management capabilities, and has a proven track record in excellence and can partner effectively to drive impact. The responsibility includes understanding product and release requirements, and transforming them into executable release plans. You will drive core release management responsibilities, and will manage the end-to-end delivery of Analytics' products. You will work with internal/external partner teams to align Oracle Analytics' priorities, identify and manage risks, define and implement release plans, and successfully deliver a quality product to production. It is the expectation that the RM is self-reliant and will take initiative in ensuring the success of each product release. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), excellent written and oral communication skills, strong analytical skills, effective cross-organizational and project management skills, and thrive in a highly innovative, fast paced, evolving and ambiguous environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Drive core release management responsibilities for multiple products and/or projects

    • Manage requirements and define proper solutions (process + technology) with the mindset of extensibility and scalability

    • Collaborate with senior leadership of Development and Product Management in defining release plans, and taking ownership of successful execution of the approved release plan

    • Identify and manage risks that may impact release plans and facilitate risk resolution

    • Establish key metrics to measure and monitor progress of releases and ensure delivery of quality products

    • Observe and enforce release compliance requirements

    • Lead release readiness assessment to ensure quality standards are met, and coordinate release handoff and production roll out with Sustaining Engineering and DevOps teams

    • Manage expectations, alignment and communications with cross-functional teams and stakeholders through cadenced reports, statuses, reviews, etc.

    • Collaborate and maintain good working relationships with other release and program managers, development and product management teams, compliance offices, and other cross-functional teams

    • Support the Director of Release Management in creating, improving, maintaining, and implementing release processes, in many cases using data driven analytics to substantiate decisions

    US: Hiring Range in USD from: $78,000 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

    Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

    Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

    8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
