    HOW A PROGRAM COORDINATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

    The Program Coordinator position is a unique position that:

    Manages and supports various events, programs and projects both on and offsite. Performs a variety of administrative duties by assisting visitors, guests and customers by providing general information, tours and assisting onsite personnel Interfaces with customers, subcontractors and other GDIT employees.

    Schedules meetings, manages calendars and books conference rooms.

    Contributes to the completion of programs and projects

    Develops solutions to problems

    Performs minor equipment checks to maintain operability

    Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to programs and projects

    Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology and works with management to evolve current processes

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    BA/BS and 5+ years' relevant experience

    The Program Coordinator is an independent and enthusiastic go-getter working strategically across a portfolio of programs to:

    Manage administrative duties to support corporate opportunities and events by:

    Managing conference room calendars/schedules

    Supporting visitors, customers, and guests while onsite by providing information, answering questions, providing tours, and enhancing customer and onsite experience

    Identifies opportunities to enhance the business area

    Support onsite and offsite events, to include but not limited to:

    Coordinating the event

    Attending the event and serving as key personnel while present by providing demos, information, answering information and soliciting feedback

    Lead presentations

    Remain abreast of new employees, as well as employees that are departing

    With this awareness, create and manage systems to ensure new and leaving employees are updated in various databases

    Complete minor and routine equipment and technology checks to maintain operability

    Engage with existing and new vendors - plan requirements, schedule events, define agenda

    Facilitate conference demonstrations, travel, organization preparation

    Clearly and concisely articulates needs to the team with the goal of advancing progress

    Builds relationships with internal and external teams

    Add value to the team with little direction and guidance

    Identify gaps in processes, opportunities for improvement and creates plans for implementation

    Prioritize initiatives/requirements with little guidance

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

    Required qualification:

    BA/BS and 5+ years' relevant experience

    Enthusiastic

    Very strong organizational, communication and time management skills

    Self-motivated

    Advanced level MS Office suite of tools

    Experience with short- and long-range planning

    Process oriented but flexible in adapting a process to meet internal needs

    The likely salary range for this position is $97,258 - $131,584. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
