  • Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)

    • Provide a range of technical and consultative services relative to government acquisition strategy and planning. *

    • Researches, plans, analyzes and organizes technical information and develop data for use in briefings relative to program requirements. *

    • Develop recommendations based on in-depth analysis of issues and consideration of overall mission requirements.*

    • Develop requirements and documents, task planning, project schedules, and prepare white papers or briefs on positions and/or concepts. *

    • Develop and deliver technical briefings and reports. *

    • Prepares program documents and correspondence such as project authorization documents, action memos, waivers, etc.*

    • Schedules briefings and meetings and manages program files*

    • Develops working knowledge of government policies and guidelines related to acquisition strategy and planning.

    • Plans, schedules and executes special activities as required

    • May provide leadership to lower level project/program support employees

    • May serve as a liaison with other departments and/or customers on assigned programs.

    Required SkillsRequired Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Technical discipline, or related field or equivalent

    • Minimum of 4 - 7 years' related experience

    • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and produce high quality written products such as memoranda, presentations, reports, and correspondence

    • Experience collaborating with a team to identify and analyze program requirements and propose recommendations/path forward to management and stakeholders

    • Experience preparing briefings and/or presentations on the status of project plans

    • Experience coordinating with external stakeholder groups

    • Ability to track action items, develop metrics, develop and track project plans, and develop and track Plans of Actions and Milestones and advise Government on potential program impacts and touch-points based on analysis

    • Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and database software packages

    • Active SECRET DoD security clearance

    • U.S. Citizenship required

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience preparing SOWs for technical and administrative contractor support

    • Experience with DoD Acquisition Programs

    • Army aviation experience

    • Knowledge and understanding of Army Acquisition Policy, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and/or the Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS)
