Production Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker to join our team. In this role, you will work on a production line that manufactures blood cartridges with minute-level printing onto a metal strip. The process is automated, and you will need to learn automated printing and labeling for regulated products. Quality control is crucial as these blood analyzer cartridges are used in critical care and hospital settings. Your responsibility includes ensuring that the products meet high standards, as any defects in the raw material phase can affect someone's health. You will also be required to document every change or abnormality digitally and efficiently after the training period.

Responsibilities

• Work on the production line manufacturing blood cartridges with minute-level printing.

• Observe the printing process to ensure droplets are in the correct shape, requiring intense focus.

• Learn and manage automated printing and labeling processes for regulated products.

• Ensure quality control and that products meet high standards.

• Document every change or abnormality digitally and efficiently.

• Understand the moral responsibility of ensuring products are up to grade as they are used in critical care settings.

Essential Skills

• Experience working on a production line in a manufacturing environment.

• Diploma (high school minimum, college ideal) in medical, science, or engineering fields.

• 1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing or production company with compliance standards.

• Experience working in an automated environment with SOPs.

• Attention to detail and ability to focus while moving quickly on a production line.

• Skills in assembly, microscope usage, quality checks, and medical device handling.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to stand for long periods and maintain intense focus.

• Comfortable working with automated computerized production machines.

Work Environment

You will work at stations on the production line, which is not a clean room environment but requires wearing gowns. The room temperature is between 23-25 degrees. While the job primarily involves standing, chairs are available for quick breaks. The production line moves quickly, so you need to be able to assess and catch errors immediately. The entire production floor uses automated computerized machines. Shifts are 12 hours long, from 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM, with consistent shift patterns (front of week or back of week).
