    What's a typical day as a Production Supervisor? You'll be:

    • Coaching Safety, Quality, and Productivity to ensure objectives are met through standardized work

    • Monitoring Andon occurrences and being the first responder as secondary support

    • Utilizing process confirmation to verify the line is running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts

    • Supporting Continuous Improvement and coaching problem resolution

    • Providing team communication and recognition

    • Building Team Leader and Team Member capability

    • Creating a conducive work environment for the team(s) to complete their assigned responsibilities/tasks

    • Handling the basic administration of supervisory responsibilities and documents

    • Being responsible for the daily material handling functions for the facility and department

    • Ensuring proper material flow from receiving dock to warehouse storage location, production line feed location, and delivery of finished product to customers

    • Providing direction and support in the allocation of resources to appropriately cover material handling responsibilities

    • Supporting Ford Production System and synchronous material flow through lean manufacturing practices

    • Leading and managing unionized hourly personnel

    • Ensuring flawless introduction of new parts to production through proactive planning and cross-functional communication

    • Effectively implementing the Engineering Change Process

    • Identifying data gaps in CMMS (missed production counts, etc.) and taking corrective actions

    • Are a two-way communicator who actively listens to hourly team members, leaders, business partners, and customers

    • Are highly committed to continuous improvement and applying innovative solutions with a customer-first mindset

    • Can create a culture of safety and apply and implement workplace policies

    • Can administer the CBA (collective bargaining agreement) consistently and effectively

    • Value different opinions and are open to ideas and perspectives from others

    • Have prior experience managing a unionized workforce

    • Have the ability to multitask and work independently

    • Have a high school diploma or GED
