dsm-firmenich has an exciting role as a Production Supervisor. In this role, the ideal candidate is responsible for overseeing the production process end to end in the area and shift you are assigned to. motivate and supervise the production team to ensure that production targets are met in terms of safety, quality, volume and service. Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase productivity and reduce waste. Problem-solver being responsible to quickly identify and resolve production issues, while also maintaining a safe and positive work environment.

Your key responsibilities

• Manage employee relations including policies, benefits, procedures, timecard and performance reviews

• Train, cross train, and develop personnel and utilize each in their area of expertise, manage each employee's performance

• Responsible for the safety of all individuals within the plant production facility. The knowledge of safe operating procedures, including existing safety guidelines, is essential

• Ensures that kosher and USDA procedures are properly followed. Incumbent displays the ability to develop operating procedures and the knowledge of regulatory requirements

• Responsible for creating an environment of continuous improvement within the production units and developing an awareness for product quality, manage expenses and find opportunities for savings

• Ensure that good plant sanitation standards are followed and are according to Good Manufacturing Practices

You bring

• Strong management, communication & interpersonal skills

• Bachelor's degree in business/management or technical field is desirable

• A minimum of five years previous experience in a production environment is required

• A minimum of two years previous management experience is required

• A commitment to teamwork, fostering collaboration and respecting diverse perspectives

• Accountability to decision-making, ensuring alignment with our values and achieving positive outcomes
