    YOUR ROLE

    • Manage the daily operations of the assembly team at one local manufacturing plant.

    • Collaborate with colleagues at other local locations to ensure consistent production practices and aligned goals.

    • Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize workflows.

    • Ensure workplace safety by implementing and maintaining safety protocols in line with regulations.

    • Ensure compliance with Integrated Management Systems, including Quality Management Systems and ISO standards.

    YOUR SKILLS

    • Personnel management, 3+ years required. Assembly manufacturing experience required.

    • Ability to effectively manage team comprised of 10+ hourly employees performing daily manufacturing operations to meet customer demand requirements for both assemble-to-order and assemble-to-stock valve products.

    • Ability to effectively interact with peers in Sales, Quality, Procurement and other adjacent functions pursing shared objectives via strong teamwork on a daily basis.

    • Familiarity with industry standard manufacturing management techniques and history of successful application in the workplace. These include the use of daily KPI monitoring using an SQDIC/P framework, Lean/Continuous Improvement concepts (5Why, 5S, kaizen, Gemba) and current versus future state process mapping. Candidate will assist in developing and implementing a roadmap to achieve the future state for the manufacturing area.

    • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; plus, one to two years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • Prior experience with a major ERP system preferred (preferably SAP).

    The salary for this role is $90,000.00 - $110,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
