Job Description

We are looking for a Production Operator to assist in general loading and unloading tasks, support machine operators, and sort parts into crates. While the parts are small and lightweight, the crates can become heavy once filled.

Responsibilities

• Assist machine operators with daily tasks.

• Load and unload parts efficiently.

• Sort small and lightweight parts into crates.

• Handle crates that may become heavy once full.

• Operate forklifts as needed.

• Perform general labor tasks.

• Package and inspect parts for quality.

• Utilize hand tools as required.

• Read and follow blueprints for assembly tasks.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production and machine operation.

• Ability to perform assembly and general labor tasks.

• Competence in forklift operation.

• Proficiency in packaging and inspection.

• Skill in using hand tools.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience as a machine operator, laborer, or in assembly.

• Capability to pick and pack parts efficiently.

We offer significant overtime opportunities allowing you to earn extra income. Once you become a full-time employee, your pay increases to $17.77 per hour, plus an additional $0.75 shift differential.

Work Environment

Our facility operates three shifts: 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:15 PM at $15.50 per hour, 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:15 PM at $16.25 per hour, and 3rd shift from 11:00 PM to 7:15 AM at $16.25 per hour. Overtime is required, with potential work hours ranging from 50 to 60 hours per week. Flexibility in scheduling is necessary as you may be asked to come in early or stay late. Steel-toed boots and safety glasses are mandatory.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.50 - $16.25
