  • Job Title: Production Machine Operator

    Description:

    Material handling and machine operation. Packaging and labeling finished product and preparing product for shipping. Assist with setup and operation of automated production machinery to a weatherizing solution to large paper rolls used to wrap concrete forms in the construction industry. Shop cleanup and general shop help. Operation of forklift to move materials.

    Must be available to work all 3 shifts day/swing/grave. Current schedule will rotate between the 3 shifts every 6 weeks. Shift hours are as follows:

    Day: 7am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday

    Swing: 3pm-11:30pm, Monday-Friday

    Graveyard: 11pm-7:30am, Sunday-Thursday

    Description:

    • Receiving Freight, inspection and verifying shipments against BOMs and POs, relaying discrepancies to supervisor and transferring/transporting goods to various locations; storage, warehouse, production, shipping etc.

    • Ability to learn Machine operation, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.

    • Work within an industrial environment.

    • Examines material delivered to production departments to verify conformance to specifications

    • Arranges in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules. Computes amount of material required to complete job orders

    • Moves or transports materials from one department to another.

    • Work in Warehouse/ Manufacturing/ Production environment or similar.

    • Ability to work in an industrial environment and use proper PPE.

    Work Site

    This is a fully on-site position in PORTLAND, Oregon.

    Work Environment

    This role is based in an industrial manufacturing setting, involving heavy machinery. Safety is our priority, so you will be required to wear personal protective equipment including safety shoes, hard hats, earplugs, and safety glasses.
