Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating high-speed machines, including filling and bottling equipment. You will control and adjust machine speeds, check outputs to prevent flaws, and maintain operational procedures and activity logs.

Responsibilities

• Set up high-speed machines, including filling and bottling equipment.

• Control and adjust machine speed knobs.

• Check output to identify and stop any machine-related flaws.

• Maintain operating procedures for the production line.

• Keep detailed activity logs.

Essential Skills

• Experience as a line operator or in machine operation.

• Technical skills in troubleshooting, setup, and changeover on high-speed machinery.

• Ability to use hand tools such as wrenches, allen keys, and channel locks.

• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and manuals.

• At least 1 year of machine operation experience, preferably in a GMP environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma.

• Understanding of production procedures.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Effective teamwork and communication skills.

• Physical stamina for the demands of the job.

Work Environment

The work environment includes straight shifts with training on set shifts, typically daytime for 4-6 weeks for night shift training. The facility is temperature-controlled, very clean, and organized with a fragrant smell from the chemicals used. Employees must wear a lab coat and long pants, provided by the client, along with steel-toed boots. Shifts available include Day (7am-3:15pm), Afternoon (3pm-11:15pm, with a $0.50 premium), and Night (11pm-7:15am, with a $1 premium).
