Production Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Production Manager to oversee our custom cabinet door company. The primary responsibilities include managing the sanding, painting, packaging, and shipping processes. You will oversee a team of approximately six people, with plans to grow the team to 10-12 members over the next few years. This role involves managing one shift and ensuring production efficiency. You will also have the opportunity to implement new processes and interface with the prep, paint, quality, shipping, and customer service departments.

What You'll Do

• Lead Production : Oversee the sanding, painting, packaging, and shipping of custom cabinet doors.

• Team Management : Manage a team of six production workers, with plans to expand to 10-12 members.

• Ensure Efficiency : Maintain production efficiency and quality standards.

• Innovate : Implement new processes to improve production efficiency.

• Collaborate : Work closely with prep, paint, quality, shipping, and customer service departments.

• Communicate : Make clear decisions and motivate your team.

• Promote Quality : Foster a culture that values quality and continuous improvement.

What You Need

• Experience : Production management or supervision experience, overseeing teams of at least 10 people.

• Skills : Proficiency in establishing continuous efficiency and improvement processes.

• Quality Control : Expertise in maintaining quality standards.

• Technical Knowledge : Experience with automated painting lines (a plus) and mechanical aptitude for basic troubleshooting (a plus).

• Monday to Friday shifts from 7:00am to 4:00pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $42.00
