    We have Multiple DAY & NIGHT SHIFT positions available, each playing a crucial role in the production process. Join us and contribute to the creation of high-quality tile with a leading tile manufacturing company.

    Available Positions:

    • Cutting Line Operator
    • Glaze Line Tub Operator

    Requirements:

    • Educational Qualification
      A high school diploma or GED is required for all positions.

    • Mathematical ability: Proficiency in basic math skills, including decimals and fractions.
    • Mechanical experience: Prior experience in mechanical tasks or machinery operation is a plus.
    • Forklift experience: Previous experience operating forklifts is a plus.
    • Attention to detail: A keen eye for detail is essential for meticulously inspecting product quality.
    • Safety consciousness: Commitment to upholding safety protocols, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) for the duration of the shift, to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Clean-shaven face (cutting line only In adherence to OSHA guidelines, candidates are required to wear tight-fitting face masks to reduce the risk of silica dust exposure. For the cutting line role, it is imperative to maintain a clean-shaven face to ensure optimal sealing of the masks.
    • Prioritization: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet production deadlines and goals.
    • Pre-Employment Screening: Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

    Responsibilities:

    While various departments have specific responsibilities related to their department, common responsibilities for team members will include:

    Operational Excellence:

    • Conducting thorough setup and operation inspections of machinery: Performing detailed inspections before and during machinery operation to ensure proper setup and functionality.
    • Monitoring operations and adjusting settings: Monitoring production operations and making necessary adjustments to maintain efficiency.
    • Ensuring product quality: Checking products for quality and adhering to quality standards.
    • Maintaining machinery standards: Ensuring machinery is maintained according to company standards.

    Mechanical Maintenance:

    • Performing routine maintenance tasks: Carrying out routine maintenance activities to keep machinery in good condition.
    • Troubleshooting mechanical issues: Identifying and addressing mechanical problems to minimize downtime.
    • Lubricating and cleaning machinery: Applying lubricants and cleaning machinery to prevent wear and tear.

    Efficiency and Productivity:

    • Prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively: Organizing tasks and time to maximize productivity.
    • Completing product changes promptly: Swiftly transitioning between product changes to minimize downtime.
    • Efficient loading and unloading operations: Performing loading and unloading tasks efficiently to support production processes.

    Documentation and Reporting:

    • Recording material transfers: Documenting the movement of materials between different stages of production.
    • Reporting equipment discrepancies: Notifying supervisors of any irregularities or malfunctions in machinery.

    Safety Compliance:

    • Adhering to safety regulations: Following safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
    • Wearing required safety equipment: Using appropriate safety gear to protect oneself from workplace hazards.
    • Completing safety training: Participating in safety training sessions to enhance awareness and knowledge.
    • Ensuring a safe workplace environment: Promoting safety practices and maintaining a hazard-free work environment.

    Salary and Benefits:

Competitive starting pay rate ranging from $18.70 to $19.70 per hour, with a Night Shift Differential of $2.00, are offered, aligning with local market standards.
