    WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PRODUCTION ENGINEER

    SENIORITY LEVEL: Junior Level

    ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

    Reports to Sr Cell Manager MO

    Number of Direct Reports 1

    Core Relationships Internal - MO Process Engineers, IWS Analysts, MO Leadership, R&D

    External - FDA, 3rd party contractors,

    Travel Required 10%

    WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

    • Develop cross functional relationships to implement the best equipment modifications, thus improving the efficiency and productivity at all facilities.

    • Manage the design and installation of capital projects by establishing priorities that align with business initiatives. Prepare Capital Proposals and manage projects within approved budget guidelines.

    • Analyze projects for mechanical/technical feasibility and generate solutions that will meet the project's final objectives.

    • Select and manage third party contractors on specified projects to ensure quality work is performed within company standards for the allocated cost.

    • Plan, coordinate and implement improvement projects within production

    • Support project teams with machine modifications & installations

    • Support and improve the process part of the factory.

    • Coordinate the implementation of CBA reapplications

    • Collaborate with engineering to maintain a central and updated library for equipment manuals and catalogues (Both hard and soft copies)

    • Machines per technology and create visibility on where improvements opportunities lay and give recommendations.

    • Manage and develop supplier & OEM relationships to ensure that short- and long-term business needs are fulfilled.

    • Work closely with maintenance leads to continuously improve the Corrective, Preventive and Predictive Maintenance

    • Benchmark on standards and maintenance best practices with other factories

    • Promote safe behavior and constantly work to improve safety in the working environment.

    CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?

    • Do you make decisions on problems and methods, and are able to represent the organization to resolve important technical issues and opportunities creating a technical services team with the same characteristics?

    • Do you proactively maintain a thorough knowledge of IWS PM methodologies and like to strategically evaluate application of these to company initiatives and requirements?

    ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering or 3+ years of technical equivalent experience in manufacturing. 

    • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes(IWS), equipment, and automation technologies.

    • Proven track record of change management, collaboration, and team building.

    • Understanding industry and technology trends to identify opportunities.

    • Excellent analytical problem solving, decision making and negotiating skills.

    • Excellent understanding of Preventive Maintenance methodologies including spare parts inventory control

    • Excellent organizational and project management skills can lead and drive the technical services team's execution.

    • Proficiency in computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new computer skills.

    • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

    BENEFICIAL

    • Experience in an FDA regulated industry and familiarity with IWS is desirable.
