Location: Minneapolis, MN

1 st shift: 6am-2:30pm, M-F

2 nd shift: 3pm-11:30pm M-F

3 rd shift: 11pm-7:30am M-F

Pay Rate: $18.00-$21.00

General Summary:

Position is an entry-level position within the manufacturing area, primarily responsible for performing the following extruder responsibilities, which include; running the line, set up and changeovers. Weigh-up or packaging duties within the production department.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for uptime and running of production extruder lines.

• Produces quality product in a timely manner.

• Obtains the correct documentation for the run.

• Ensures the correct ingredients are delivered to the work area. May be required to obtain the correct ingredients for mixing and weigh out the ingredients to meet the recipe specifications.

• Sets up and starts extruder machinery, checking all controls for adherence to operating/safety procedures.

• Notifies appropriate personnel of any issues, problems or concerns in a timely manner.

• Safely and neatly processes, batch off, screen, cut up, package and/or skid material to correct size/container according to customer specifications. - Accurately supplies/supports Production Operators with appropriate materials/functions to efficiently keep all equipment operational. - Performs all required machine cleaning. - Completes and maintains required paperwork and/or documents.

• Follows and complies with all safety and work rules and regulations.

• Maintains departmental housekeeping standards.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Prior Manufacturing experience

• Forklift operation

• Manual Dexterity

• Reading/Comprehension
