Production Associate

Job Title: Production Worker, 1st Shift 10:00am-6:30pm, $19/hr

Job Description

The production facility will move to Lisle in the next few months to consolidate all manufacturing operations under one roof. This role involves packing, weighing, and labeling completed items for shipment or storage, following all company guidelines regarding packaging, and identifying and disposing of defective items. The candidate will properly use packaging materials, including hand tools, glues, nails, padding, etc., keep complete records of all materials that go through the warehouse, and maintain a clean work area.

Responsibilities

• Pack, weigh, and label completed items for shipment or storage.

• Follow all company guidelines regarding packaging.

• Identify and dispose of defective items.

• Properly use packaging materials, including hand tools, glues, nails, padding, etc.

• Keep complete records of all materials that go through the warehouse.

• Maintain a clean work area.

Essential Skills

• Experience in shipping and receiving

• Proficiency with RF scanner

• Ability to operate a pallet jack

• Forklift operating experience

• Knowledge of inventory management

• Order pulling and picking experience

• Ability to perform cycle counts

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with walkie/pallet jack

• Sit down forklift experience
