    Job Description

    In the rapidly evolving digital landscape, the protection of customer privacy and the management of consent have become paramount. McDonald's is seeking a driven Product Manager, Customer Consent & Privacy to lead the strategy, development, and execution of our customer consent and privacy solutions. In this critical role, you will champion user privacy while ensuring our products align with evolving global regulations. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build innovative solutions that enhance customer trust and support our business objectives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and execute the product vision for customer consent and privacy solutions, ensuring alignment with company goals and user needs. Create and maintain a prioritized product roadmap.

    • Privacy Compliance: Collaborate with legal and privacy counsel to ensure all products adhere to global privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, etc.). Stay up to date on regulatory changes and proactively adapt product offerings.

    • User-Centric Design: Partner with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and transparent consent mechanisms that empower users to control their data.

    • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, etc.) to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.

    • Data Analysis & Insights: Utilize data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and inform product decisions.

    • Market Research: Partner with cross-functional teams to conduct competitive analysis and stay informed about industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.

    • Stakeholder Communication: Clearly communicate product updates, milestones, and roadblocks to stakeholders at all levels.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree: In Business, Computer Science, or a related field.

    • Product Management Experience: 3+ years of experience in product management, preferably with a focus on privacy, compliance, or security.

    • Privacy Expertise: Demonstrated understanding of global privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR and CCPA.

    • Technical Acumen: Ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams and understand technical constraints.

    • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in using data to drive decision-making and measure product success.

    • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across departments.

    • Agile Methodology: Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Product Management Certification: CSPO, CPM, or equivalent

    • Industry Experience: Background in finance, healthcare, e-commerce, or media is a plus.
