    General Summary

    Assist Lab Manager, technical staff , and Engineers in performing technical tasks to support lab operations.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities

    • Organize, purchase, and maintain inventories of supplies and media used in the testing of house-hold disposers, water dispensing systems, and food service products.

    • Organize, purchase, and prepare test loads per industry standards, test procedures, and engineering test requests.

    • Procure parts, components, supplies, and professional services as required, relating to the operation, and maintenance of lab equipment.

    • Research, order, and expedite general supplies for general operations and maintenance of the lab.

    • Order and expedite print media and supplies for the lab 3-D printers.

    • Reconcile receipts, invoices, and statements on a regular basis for procurement card, lab accounts, and related expenses.

    • Support and maintain report and KPI databases for household disposers, water products, and food service products .

    • Organize, track, and maintain SDS records of chemicals stored in the lab.

    • Assist with the lab's gage calibration program and coordinate record keeping in digital files and GAGEtrak, as well as hard copy distributions.

    • Support trade shows and demonstrations by creating loads, procuring supplies, and organizing shipment/return of goods.

    • Operate a company owned vehicle for the pickup and/or delivery of materials.

    • Lead lab improvement projects as assigned.

    Minimum Requirements

    ? High School Diploma required.

    ? Skilled in using computers and use of spreadsheets.

    ? Must be self-motivated and able to work as part of a team.

    ? Must be able to work with hands on a regular basis and operate standard kitchen appliances.

    ? Good driving record required.

    Preferred Skills and Experiences

    ? Experience with proof reading/writing technical reports and procedures.

    ? Experience using Google applications, Excel, and Adobe.

    ? Experience with databases and macro programming is a plus.

    ? Proven effective written and verbal communication skills, good attitude and high degree of initiative.
