    We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Procurement Specialist in Plano, Texas. The role is within a technology / telecommunication industry, where you will be expected to manage a variety of tasks, including processing purchase orders and maintaining accurate records. This role requires a high level of multitasking and urgency, within a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee the buying processes, ensuring all purchases are made efficiently and accurately.

    • Process and manage internal and external purchase orders.

    • Maintain detailed and organized records of all procurement activities.

    • Utilize Oracle Fusion for procurement processes and SmartSheets for project management.

    • Manage workload effectively, keeping track of open and pending tasks.

    • Provide exceptional customer service, resolving inquiries promptly and professionally.

    • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting, including the use of V-Lookups and Pivot Tables.

    • Exhibit flexibility in handling multiple tasks and shifting priorities as needed.

    • Learn new tasks quickly, taking notes and adapting to new processes or procedures.

    • Possess a strong understanding of corporate procurement and invoice processing.

    Requirements

    • 3+ years of demonstrated proficiency in Buying Processes, including the ability to analyze and negotiate contracts, manage suppliers, and maintain inventory levels.

    • Exceptional Customer Service skills, with a focus on building and maintaining relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.

    • Experience in handling Invoice processing, including validating, recording, and reconciling invoices according to established policies and procedures.

    • Familiarity with Corporate Procurement strategies and the ability to contribute to their development and implementation.

    • Proficiency in using Oracle Fusion for managing procurement processes, tracking orders, and generating reports.

    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create complex formulas, pivot tables, and graphs for data analysis and reporting.5
