  • The Applied Sciences Group (ASG) is looking for a highly motivated Principal Software Engineering Manager - Full Stack that enjoys working in a hands-on technical role. You will have the opportunity to model, coach and care a team of talented engineers, while owning and delivering projects across different areas of our technology stack. Projects cover areas such as next-generation user experiences, cross-device integrations and low-level engineering.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and lead an engineering ~~~ responsible for their growth and success.

    • Individually contribute code to the product.

    • Guide the team by defining robust and maintainable architecture and design.

    • Work with stakeholdersto determine requirements. Translate those requirements into project and release plans.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

    • OR equivalent experience

    • 2+ years people management experience.

    • Experience working on Windows or Android platforms.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 10+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.

    • 4+ years people management experience.

    Software Engineering M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.
