Job Description
As a Service Automation Solution Engineer, you will be expected to work alongside many Sales teams to understand our customers' desired business outcomes in order to provide a functional product solution and demonstrate it back where required. You will be responsible for assisting in sales discoveries, leading solution discovery engagements with prospects, understanding the business process and value drivers and translating this into customer facing presentations to support the Oracle CX sales effort. Typical activities:
Facilitate and document prospect and customer discovery sessions to uncover business processes and functional requirements
Support and build custom demonstrations aligned with the prospects key business initiatives
Translate technical and business requirements into a customer focused value-centric solution
Work within teams with the ability to adopt a leadership role where necessary
Maintain a high degree of knowledge of all Oracle solutions and roadmaps to help create business outcome based vision for our customers
Experience in service management, field service, maintenance, asset management and/or call center
Developing solutions to deliver customer facing demonstrations and presentations
Understanding of relevant end-to-end enterprise service management business process
Commitment to self-learning, mentoring and regular training
Qualifications
Essential:
University degree, equivalent professional qualifications or appropriate experience
A comprehensive understanding of business practices within b2b service
Fluency in English (verbal and written)
A willingness to travel

US: Hiring Range in USD from $45.43 to $85.63 per hour; from: $94,500 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 65/35 - 80/20.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
