    As a Principal Program manager for the Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) Cloud Engineering team, you will facilitate various cross team projects permitting the team to scale as demand for our platform continues to grow. You will be responsible for leading numerous complex projects and initiatives that affect the success of the FDI product. You will work with Engineering Management, and other Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Service teams, to ensure projects are furnished with the resources they require to be successfully completed on time.

    Responsibilities

    As a Principal Program manager for the Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) Cloud Engineering team, you will facilitate various cross team projects permitting the team to scale as demand for our platform continues to grow. You will be responsible for leading numerous complex projects and initiatives that affect the success of the FDI product. You will work with Engineering Management, and other Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Service teams, to ensure projects are furnished with the resources they require to be successfully completed on time.

    Responsibilities

    • Facilitate furtherment of cross OCI team projects, ensuring FDI requirements are clearly identified, communicated and tracked

    • Cross team co-ordination of environment needs, both with FDI and across various Oracle internal groups as required

    • Identification of inefficiencies in production fleet, i.e. under used internal instances, unused trials, anomalous instances etc

    • Enforce and improve development and release processes, working with Release Management team as required

    • Identify, and implement (where appropriate) reporting requirements across the project

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain the roadmap, while setting realistic expectations

    • Own and follow up on unblocking cross area development blockers and escalate to required senior team members as required

    • Process facilitation and documentation for various cloud regions we operate in, especially non-commercial restricted or dedicated regions

    • Use your technical understanding to identify tasks, gaps, issues, and risks that can be technical in nature

    • Earmark problem areas and apply learnings through the development groups

    • Manage communication across organizations and cross-functional teams

    Qualifications/Desired Skills

    • BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area

    • 8+ years project or program management experience

    • 10+ years in a technology focused role; Previous development management/product management experience is a plus

    • Ability to work with large remote/matrix/cross functional development, test and release engineering teams

    • Clear and crisp communication; good written and verbal grasp of English

    • Understanding of Agile and Waterfall Program management methodologies but able to apply a combination of or change in accordance with the project

    • Professional maturity, judgement, negotiation/influence skills, and analytical skills.

    • Knowledge of Data Analytics/Data Warehousing a plus

    • Working Knowledge of Jira desirable

    US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

    Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
