    With Oracle's remarkable success in Cloud Applications, particularly in ERP Cloud, the Higher Ed sector has shown tremendous interest in adopting Oracle's cloud solutions. Student Information Systems, a critical aspect of our Higher Ed SaaS footprint, stands as a top priority for investment at Oracle.

    As a Product Strategist, you will hold the manager position, responsible for coordinating strategic programs including advisory groups, outbound research, and the delivery of thought leadership. Your role will entail close collaboration with internal teams (e.g., product management, development, UX, marketing, internal sales reps, consultants) as well as external stakeholders (e.g., customers, analysts, system integrators/partners).

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate closely with Product Leadership, Designers, Technical Leads, Product Management teams, and customers to understand high-level requirements, create thought leadership documents, and identify strategic differentiators

    • Analyze and incorporate external customer requirements into the product.

    • Lead, propose and justify product directions and requirements.

    • Work with and influence various development teams, to ensure Oracle Student is customer first in its design

    • Analyze competitive solutions and conduct research in new knowledge areas.

    • Present feature requirements and strategic direction to stakeholders, team members, and others to gather feedback.

    • Develop thought leadership assets to evangelize Oracle Student's core differentiators

    • Coordinate with development teams to answer questions and make design and implementation decisions.

    • Collaborate with technical leads to assess the feasibility of feature designs.

    • Define and prioritize the product roadmap.

    • Review end-user documentation for accuracy.

    • Engage advisory groups for functional validation and UAT

    • Support product Strategy Council to ensure long-term alignment with industry expectations

    • Investigate product defects and recommend solutions.

    • Demonstrate designed and developed product to Product and Oracle industry leadership

    US: Hiring Range: from $87,600 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

    Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

    Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

    8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
