  • Job Title: Press/Shear Operator

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Press and Shear Operator, working the 3rd shift from 6pm to 4:30am, Monday through Thursday. This role involves setting up and operating metal fabricating machines such as brakes, rolls, shears, saws, and presses, ironworker, and high-definition plasma cutter to cut, bend, straighten, and form metal plates, sheets, and structural shapes. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering specifications, and shop orders to determine machine setup and production methods. You will select, position, and secure dies, blades, cutters, and fixtures onto machines, adjust controls to regulate machining factors, and ensure conformance to engineering specifications. Additionally, you will assist with routine maintenance, cleaning in the Press & Shear department, and training of new employees as needed.

    Work Site

    This is a fully on-site position in DENVER, Pennsylvania.

    Work Environment

    This position is based in a large weld, paint, and fabrication shop that manufactures customized trailers for large industrial clients. The environment is team-oriented and features a very high-tech, automated paint system. Please note that the workspace is not climate-controlled.
