Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a CNC Amada Press Brake, reading and interpreting blueprints, performing set-ups independently, and conducting first article/part inspections to quality standards. You will also assist with CNC laser operations and other shop duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a CNC Amada Press Brake

• Read and interpret blueprints accurately

• Perform set-ups of materials and work independently once trained

• Conduct first article/part inspections to meet quality standards

• Assist with CNC laser operations and other shop duties as necessary

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of CNC Press Brake experience

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

• Experience performing own set-ups

• Proficiency with precision measuring tools and basic fraction/decimal conversions

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a structural steel environment

• Knowledge of metal fabrication processes

Work Environment

Work in a custom metal shop environment that requires comfort with a non-heated facility. Both bay doors remain open during the winter, so employees should be prepared to work in cold weather during winter and warm weather in summer.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, Washington.
